PM 12 A

Neuruppin metal fire extinguisher comes with a special metal fire extinguishing powder.

Typical applications include the processing and manufacture of products made of combustible metals and their alloys - especially in the chemical industry, the automotive industry. They can also be used in nuclear power plants and laboratories. Combustible metals include magnesium, aluminium, potassium, sodium, calcium, barium and lithium and their alloys.

These applications all involve Class D fires, where only metal fire-powder approved products should be used.

  • Hose length of 1.5 metres for easy handling during application for PM 12 A

  • Special powder applicator to reduce risk of explosions

  • External CO2 cartridge for easy service

  • Steel cylinder finished in red high-quality polyester powder coating, free from TGCI

  • Fire test results available for several metal fire types [solid and liquid metals / alloys]

  • Squeeze grip control valve at hose end allows total control of discharge

  • Wheeled units with 50kg and 250 kg available
